Business Improvement

& Development

People typically start family-owned businesses for three reasons.
First, lifestyle: the desire for more freedom, control, wealth, and independence.
Second, financial ambition: wanting to earn more and build real wealth.
Third, necessity: many over 50 who leave formal employment cannot re-enter it and must create their own path.

What’s common is the quick realisation that business is complex, with many moving parts. Alarmingly, 70–75% of new businesses fail within five years, placing families and their assets at real risk.

How Do I Achieve Business Improvement for my Clients?

Initial diagnosis of urgent issues, a full strategic review with the leadership team, clear role definition, establishment of board-level processes, implementation of effective systems, comprehensive monthly reporting, and a strong focus on accountability—while providing ongoing support and being available whenever needed, 24/7.

What are my Terms of Engagement?

For ongoing Fractional (Part-Time) CEO, Advisor, Chairman, and Business Improvement engagements, my fee is AU$3,000 per month plus GST, paid monthly in advance. Agreed disbursements are client-covered. You may terminate at any time—no lock-ins, no hidden costs. As a one-man practice, I work with only a small, select group of clients.

What Does Business Improvement Look Like?

A clear strategic plan that your leadership team helps shape and fully supports. Strong leadership structure, shared vision and goals, clear roles, empowerment, and accountability. A unified, committed team. Professional monthly reporting, effective systems and processes, clear financial targets and KPIs, and continuous performance measurement. The result: improved profitability, stronger financial health, and—most importantly—greater peace of mind, wellbeing, and a happier workplace for everyone.
